UX Designer - 3 to6 months - Letterkenny - £400 to £475 per day

UX Designer required for an initial 6 month contract with a market leading air transport firm focusing on technological transformation in Letterkenny.
The client would also consider candidates looking to work 50/50 between Letterkenny and Dublin.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a user-experience designer to join the recently founded UXD group responsible for conceiving designs and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into wireframes and prototypes. You will also design the overall functionality of products and iterate upon them to ensure a great user experience. This is an opportunity to be innovative with a product, research new approaches, define working practices and influence the company UX strategy.
Must have skills:
* Good understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design and Human Cognitive behaviour, Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Experience with UX deliverables like Personas, User journey maps, Site maps, Prototypes, Wireframes, Style guides, Usability reports and Research reports as documents, videos, and presentations.
* Good understanding of Agile and Lean UX Deliverables.
* Creative with a good command of graphic design.
* Understanding of UX maturity of an organisation.
* Ideating/collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and communicating UX with stakeholders.
* A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design.
* Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
* Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
* Be open to receiving feedback.
* Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
* Key Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, CSS, HTML, Zurb Foundation, Bootstrap, Sharpies.
* Key Deliverables: Wireframes, Prototypes, storyboards, User personas, Usability test results, Investigative user studies & interviews.
Good to have skills:
* UX certification from originations like Human Factors International (HFI), Nelson Norman Group (NN-Group) etc.
* Should be able to produce measurable UX outputs using qualitative and quantitative studies and relate it ROI calculation.
* Good domain knowledge of industries such as Air Transport, Banking, e-Commerce
* Understanding of Google sprints, Design Thinking and IBM Loop etc
* Tools: Adobe CC suite, Fluid UI, Camtasia, BrowserStack, Morae, Google Analytics
* Deliverables: Customer journey mapping, Style guides, Creating promotional brand identity (like Posters, Ads and Freebees)
