User Experience Designer (Remote)

Rock Solid Stabilization (2 time, consecutive Inc 5000 fastest growing companies award winner) is seeking a UX designer to 'own' the user experience for internal field operation applications (web and mobile). This role presents an opportunity to be a key team member delivering technology enabling Rock Solid to continue efficient, scalable growth.

A vast majority of work can be performed remotely, however regular strategy and road mapping sessions would prefer to be face-to-face in either Madison or Lake Geneva Wisconsin. Would consider 100% remote for an ideal candidate.

JOB SUMMARY:

The UX Designer translates high-level requirements into engaging user experiences. This individual excels at being highly analytical and delivers highly creative design ideas.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in:
• Interaction Design, UX Design or similar in a software development context
• Commercial software development for both mobile and desktop
• Working knowledge of software development and graphical design for web and mobile (Android and iOS) platforms
• Experience working remotely and/or with a distributed team
• Strong with Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, or similar

Essential Duties

• Review business requirements and create wireframes (low/medium fidelity), storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Develop and communicate user experience technical requirements with user experience (UX) deliverables, such as personas, prototypes, information architecture diagrams, mockups, and workflow diagrams.
• Partner with engineers and internal stakeholders to design experiences which meet technical, business and user needs.
• Collaborate frequently with engineers during development to provide design oversight and assure final products achieve the desired user experiences
• Innovate and push forward new concepts, end user solutions, and product platforms
• Develop and document specifications for user interfaces for development team
• Organize design documentation and assets
