Job Title: Information Technology Analyst IV (.Net Developer)
Location: Remote then Urbandale, Iowa
Type: ONLY on W2 contract
Length: 12 months
Pay Rate – $55- $61.29 per hour
Note: Primary skill is .Net and AWS.
The manager would like to see skills in .Net, Java and AWS. Between .Net and Java, .Net is more important. If the person has .Net and AWS, but no Java, they will be considered. If they have Java and AWS, but no .Net, it is less likely.
JOB DUTIES:
• Practice Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Pair daily with other developers
Being able to hands on code in multiple languages preferably Java, Scala, Javascript/Node, has deep knowledge of AWS Services. Prior agronomic domain knowledge will be given preference
REQUIRED:
* Minimum 5-7 years hands on experience in building/testing/deploying scalable solutions in .Net or Java - rest services and big data processing, working through various design patterns
PREFERRED:
* Working knowledge of the agronomic data processing and AWS storage technologies and systems
* Experience with AWS technologies (EC2, Kinesis, S3, Cloudwatch etc.)
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Travel also anticipated to Jensen Farms for 1/2 a day once every 6 months riding along with another worker or using personal vehicle.
