Job Description

• Position: Application Support Specialist (Unix/SQL)
• Estimated Duration: Contract assignment for 12+ months
• Onsite in Hartford County

Our client is looking for an Asset Management Production Support Specialist to provide support for an enterprise wide web-based system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop ETL database to extract and transform metadata
• Develop application support scripts using BASH shell scripting and PERL
• Develop solutions to implement new functionality and resolve application bugs
• Configure or develop REST or SOAP web services
• Diagnose technical problems and provide solutions to meet business needs
• Maintain in-house documentation and update as enhancements are made
• Perform quality control and support efforts to ensure processes run as expected

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $65.00 to $80.00 /hour
