UI/UX Designer (Remote)

Asset Panda is a fast-growing SaaS/Mobile company based in Frisco, Texas, founded in 2012. Our solution is a highly configurable asset tracking platform that easily adapts to our client’s workflow. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to work remotely on a contract to hire.

Job Summary

As our ideal candidate, you will have a creative mind and strong instinct about what makes an intuitive user experience. You’re comfortable taking input from stakeholders and translating it into high fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and graphical elements.

You will be responsible for guiding the design and experience of new product features and existing feature enhancements within Asset Panda’s web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use for a highly customizable system
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define user experience requirements, user scenarios, and journey maps
• Contribute to ideation and sketching sessions, storyboards, prototyping and usability testing to create comprehensive wireframe system
• Create and deliver mock ups to aid with cross-team communication, collaboration and development

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience required
• 6 or more years of related experience in a graphic and front-end design
• Experience with enterprise level content management systems, e-Commerce, and/or mobile experience a plus
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• A strong comprehension of iOS and Android interface design and fundamental patterns along with web
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
• Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills
• Able to run review meetings and foster a friendly critique session in order to come up with a great design
• Experience finding simple, innovative solutions for complex problems
• A sense for prioritization and can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• We are using Figma and Zeplin.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years related experience
