UI/UX Designer in Pittsburgh - Full-time Contract - Starting... (Remote)

Roket is seeking for a senior user experience, user interface designer who thrives on building complex products from start to finish to join our client's software design team in Pittsburgh for a long-term contract role.

This is a year long contract position with our client—a large internet services company. You’ll work with Roket's onsite team of UX/UI designers and software developers at our client's headquarters in Pittsburgh. Together with their engineers and product managers, you'll efficiently define, design, and develop best-in-class software. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated user experiences, and flawless communication is essential.

The Role and Responsibilities

• Possess excellent visual design skills
• Work with your Crewmates to translate client needs into plans
• Create visually compelling solutions for complex enterprise software
• Collaborate with the teammates to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently
• Help lead projects to with clear communication, decisive action, and stellar work
• Enjoy collaborating with client's teams and feel confident managing the relationship
• Visualize concepts and applications through sketches, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes
• Possess a solid understanding of full-stack software development
• Work closely with web and mobile developers to ensure frictionless design-to-development transition
• Work onsite at our client's office in Pittsburgh's east end
