The department of Finance has been users of UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology for the past 3-4 years where the Finance Information Technology team have self-taught themselves on the use and implementation of this technology. The department is seeking to expand the use of RPA to include other technologies such as Power Automate within the organization to automate manually driven processes related to financial transactions and processes with the many enterprise applications that are used by the County such as Oracle EBS, MUNIS, Kronos timekeeping products, Office 365, etc.
Scope of Work: The intent of this task order is to 1.) either provide as needed UiPath RPA and or Power Automate development and implementation expertise to the Finance Information Technology Team with automating workflows that will be developed in-house
OR
2.) automate a workflow that has been identified. The department is heavily invested in UiPath but may entertain the use of Power Automate if there is significant advantages with using this platform in lieu of UiPath depending on the workflow that is being automated.
Workflows to be automated will be related to the following areas:
Systems Administrations – Microsoft Windows, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc…
Property Tax Billing – Munis
The Contractor will provide staff that meets the following:
Proficient and knowledgeable in the use of UiPath Studio and Power Automate with developing workflows.
Proficient and knowledgeable in the implementation of workflows to robots.
Knowledgeable in providing guidance on scaling the client’s current UiPath architecture and the use of orchestration.
Knowledgeable in provide guidance on enterprise governance and Center of Excellence framework.
Knowledgeable in RPA topic such as Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning and how to leverage these technologies in a financial processing environment.
Proficiency with developing UiPath and Power Automate workflows that include documentation, error checking, logging, security, and recoverability.
Ability to draft requirements by interacting with Subject Matter Experts of the task to be automated.
Proficiency with developing complex workflows involving multiple systems in a finance organization.
Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with various levels of employees maintaining a positive customer service focus
Ability to provide general UiPath development training to staff.
Additionally, to be successful the candidate will:
Possess general knowledge of financial functions of Account Receivables/Payables, Payroll, and Accounting.
Possess an elevated level of attention to detail
Possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Be skilled in planning, organizing work and setting priorities
Work well in change environment maintaining a strong positive perspective
