Our client is a leading software solutions company operating within a global marketplace. Great opportunity for a contractor with good experience of web development and search engine optimisation for a 6 month contract working anywhere remotely in the UK. Responsibilities • Build highly performant and optimised mobile first web pages using the latest technologies. • Work with XD (experience design) team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences • Work closely with UK/US Web team and join weekly calls to optimize the website and roll out new features • Implement A/B tests using Optimizely and our in-house tools. • Be passionate about web performance and building sites for speed • Be familiar and comfortable with Sass/PostCss/BEM/Utility-First CSS • Ensure the website is tagged properly for various tracking tools • Have some experience of ES6/Gulp • Provide technical expertise and ownership of technical issues • Implement basic changes to graphics using Photoshop/Sketch/Illustrator • Must be available to occasionally work afterhours to deploy time-specific changes on the website Skills required * Graduate + 3+ year experience. * Design and development of high-traffic web sites * SEO experience very useful including technical on-site, on-page and off-page optimisations * Javascript , HTML5, CSS3, ES6 or higher * React knowledge wouild prove very useful Good French communication skills – spoken and written (ideal but not compulsory) Benefits * Working remotely * Long contract * Possible extension Role: UI Web Developer Job Type: Contract Location: London, London,
