About the Role

Our customers are solving some of the hardest problems in marketing, often handling thousands of social media profiles, while still attempting to enable the local managers to succeed on their own; you thrive in solving complex problems for sophisticated customers, while making the experience intuitive and seamless. You have an insatiable curiosity about why customers behave in certain ways, and an instinct on what to build to solve their core problems. You can map user flows in your sleep and understand where bottlenecks or pain points arise. You are an expert in design systems, but know when to break the rules. You adroitly interpret qualitative and quantitative data, using them to iterate toward effortlessly usable solutions. In partnering with a product manager and a tech lead, you form a power trio of bringing the respective domain expertise for creating maximum value for our customers.

About You

• Ability to transform ambiguous problem spaces into products with clear vision
• Design beautiful, intuitive interfaces that make our multi-dimensional product effortless to use.
• Collaborate with the product development team and our customers to test ideas and to quickly iterate to the best solution using rapid prototyping techniques
• An exceptional communicator: You share your design thinking by stating upfront the design goals and user flows you are solving for. You can verbalize why certain choices were made and the pros/cons of any alternatives you considered.
• Open-minded, self-aware and humble - you take feedback without defensiveness and will incorporate others’ perspectives if they make sense.
• Scrappy can-do attitude with a bias for action and focus on impact; you move quickly, and are always iterating on ideas.
• An ownership mentality - You possess a natural tendency to take initiative and own projects. You feel accountable for the usability and customer experience of everything you design.
• Generalist that can own the design process end to end from user interviews to usability testing
• Detail-oriented while being able to see the big picture

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in UX and product design with a track record of successful products
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS startup (Martech-related a plus)
• Fluency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design and prototyping tools.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills, deep systems thinking, and a passion for business design that solves complex problems at scale across desktop and mobile devices.
