UI consultant needed, Edinburgh, varied and challenging work

A self-motivated and ambitious UI consultant is needed for a leading consultancy, with offices on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Projects will vary from working on websites & systems to touchscreen products, so rather interesting stuff!

This will be for an initial 8 months, with day rates on offer between £340-£370pd (outside of IR35). Extensions anticipated. We can wait up to three weeks for the right person to start, though ideally sooner.

The following are the tech skills required:

• -HTML 5, JavaScript / ECMAScript 6
• -CSS / SASS / LESS
• -React & JSX
• -Bootstrap
• -Websockets
• -Experience with REST and/or SOAP services using data schemas such as JSON and XML

Desirable / On more general side of things:

• experience of responsive design
• -Knowledge of Automated and Manual Testing processes (Mocha, Jest etc.)
• -Experience of Agile Scrum, Fast Iterative Environments and Version Control (ideally Git)

UX and user research skills - Task analysis, mapping, user journeys, personas, wire-framing etc.
