**C2C is not available** **Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. can be considered as W2 candidates.** UI/ANGULAR FULL STACK DEVELOPER Contract: 6+ months Location: Worker can be located in Springfield of Boston
Notes: Can we use 6 mo contract to start to see how they do and we want right to hire and/or extend out. WRT Rates - depending on skill level and location as Boston/Springfield on higher end. Note: Work remotely for at least this year; next year TBD as will depend on whether client opens it offices. At some point expectation is to be in the office.
Objectives of this role: •UI Angular development with SQL as a member of a project team supporting a risk management project •Support the team with evaluating analysis and requirements; development and unit testing; and solution development, and migration to production •Producing relevant project documentation that ensures governance throughout the agile process whilst also demonstrating the implementation of lessons learned and best practices •Working pro-actively to resolve issues in a timely manner in order to drive customer satisfaction •Research, learn, and apply new technologies that can improve performance and minimize operational downtime •Collaborating with Enterprise Technology to manage requests and apply standards to work efforts •Troubleshoot, debug, and patch application and platform issues
Skills and Qualifications •Programming fluency in UI Angular and full stack experience •Python a plus •Experience with relational and object databases (SQL/Mongo) •Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT, VSS) •Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments •Experienced problem solver with strong appetite for continuous improvement •Degree in computer science or engineering •Strong debugging and unit testing skills •5+ years of relevant work experience •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications •Experience in a market risk setting at a large corporate entity •Understanding of agile based development methodologies •Full stack engineer with backend experience •Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc. •Understanding of asset/liability management analytics and bond/derivative instruments
Education •Bachelor's Degree in computer science or engineering
