UI Angular Developer

Translates the UI/UX design mockups to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. Works with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works

We will consider Remote option for this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• You will take ownership of tasks and projects to follow through on details, and drive issues to closure.
• Support and troubleshoot unwanted layout issues as needed
• You are able to work from 8 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Occasional tasks may be asked of you outside of normal business hours to support our production systems.
• Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
• Self-motivated, self-directed individual who takes pride in their work product.
• Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
• Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 2+ years of experience, or a relevant college degree including the following:
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• AngularJS 1.6+ and Angular2 are a must have an must have proven experinece within UI.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with layout libraries including Bootstrap 4, Font Awesome a plus
• Experience with Git versioning a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $45.00 to $56.00 /hour
