LHT Learning is hiring an Instructional Designer to use their skills to create, review, and design exceptional custom solutions that meet and exceed client requirements and standout as industry best-in-class contributions.

This individual will also contribute to client-facing projects and will work closely with LHT project manager, Development, Graphic Design, and Quality Assurance teams.

This is a remote, full-time position; contract to hire with potential for extension.

Core Responsibilities

• Create Learning Solutions Deliverables
• Design engaging and effective learning solution designs
• Create custom content and job aids for delivery via eLearning, live classroom and virtual workshops, video, audio, mobile, and other modalities
• Write, review, and contribute to the production of content for client-facing projects to ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality materials on schedule, within budget, and to defined standards
• Work directly with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure business objectives are met
• Work directly with Lead Instructional Designer and use instructional design templates

• Define Quality Assurance (QA) Requirement
• Assist QA Lead in defining client and learner requirements for project deliverables.
• Assist QA Lead in reviewing and updating project deliverables produced by LHT development and graphic design teams

• Collaborate with various team members, including Account Directors, Account Managers, Project Managers, graphic artists, illustrators, video editors, sound engineers, media experts, developers, and other members of the production team, to ensure that deliverables meet client expectations and are within stated timelines and budgets
• Virtually attend internal and external project meetings
• Facilitate internal content kickoff meetings
• Maintain collaborative and positive communication with LHT teammates and clients

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in creative writing and/or instructional design
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Masters in instructional design a plus.
