The Company:  Async-Nu Microsystems is looking for a System Security Engineer to support a potential contract with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ) in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary range is 88-98k. The place of work will be located at 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD with opportunities for remote work.

The Background: AHRQ is seeking to maintain and enhance agency production systems as well as the architectural, engineering, configuration management, and hosting services needed to support those systems. There is a need for application development, operations and maintenance, and testing and deployment of complex technologies into the existing IT environment

The Position: In the role of Test Engineer, you will contribute to the implementation of the software testing lifecycle activities, including creating test cases, preparing scripts, executing test cases for different types of testing and implement specific parts of the go-live plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients’ business needs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and executes testing procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
• As a self-starting problem solver that can operate with minimal supervision, you will apply knowledge of test and evaluation concepts, processes, practices, and procedures.
• Evaluates, recommends, and implements test techniques, tools, and strategies.
• Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing knowledge and understanding for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development / Automation framework development using Java
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Test Strategy, Test Automation, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & Reporting
• Knowledge in Core Java, Selenium, Web Services, UFT, Agile, DevOps, SQL

**Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance. Position is contingent on final contract aware.**

Salary: $88,000.00 to $98,000.00 /year
