Technical Requirements
Knowledge of event based microservices architecture patterns
Reasoned API design opinions
Comfort level integrating with evolving external system dependencies
Interest in IOT platform communication and centralized device management
Comfortable working with relational databases, particularly Postgres
Some experience with:
o Kafka or similar distributed messaging service, Container runtimes, AWS Cloud
o K8S (self-hosted or a managed flavor), Functions as a service (e.g. Lambda)
Senior level skills in at least one of the following languages:
o Go, Java, Python
Any experience with the following technologies and patterns would be nice, but not required:
o Couchbase, Bosh/CloudFoundry, Concourse, Vault
o Façade design pattern
o Event sourcing design pattern
o Strangler design pattern
