Technical Architect/ Technical Design Authority | Infrastructure & Apps | London | £650/day
This is an immediate requirement for a Technical Architect/ Technical Design Authority to join a leading Financial Services Firm on an immediate, 6-months engagement with a strong likelihood of extension.
The remit of this role is broad, covering all areas of Infrastructure and the entire Enterprise Application portfolio. It's therefore essential, for the successful candidate, to have significant experience of architecting and designing across a range of; platforms, infrastructures, and architectures, within an Investment Management, Investment Banking, or Asset Management setting.
Key experience required for the Technical Architect/Technical Design Authority:
- You must have significant experience of working as a Technical Architect or Technical Design Authority on both Infrastructure and Applications Projects/ Programmes.
- You must have significant experience and subject matter expertise the operating as a Technical Architect or Technical Design Authority within the Financial Services sector, specifically for enterprise Investment Management, Investment Banking, or Asset Management firms.
- Owns and leads technical governance for architecture, assuring up time and integrity of systems
- Defines, designs, delivers and maintains Infrastructure and Applications strategies and road maps, whilst supporting the core technology of the business.
- Significant experience of producing first-rate - High & Low-Level Designs.
- Experience of acting as an internal Consultant & Trusted Advisor to the business.
- Significant experience of working across the full project life cycle, on firm-wide transformation programmes.
Key Tech experience includes:
- Cloud - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, AWS & Azure.
- Windows, UNIX, Linux.
- Virtualisation, Datacentres, Storage, Networking.
- Databases - RDBMS- Oracle, SQL Server.
- Middleware - JBoss, Tomcat, MQ, ETL.
