*Who We Are
*ZiM Innovations Inc. *powers brands at the intersections of technology, business, and culture for health, happiness, and healing.

In joining our team, you’ll be working across our following brands:

ZiM is a social marketplace for personal care on a mission to provide convenient, transparent, and inclusive care to all. As an amazon-like marketplace, ZiM filters products and reviews by hair and skin type and provides a fun social atmosphere to share personal care tips.

ZiMxFest is a Personal Care & Wellness Conference centering clean
beauty business growth, education, and fun for all.

FUTURxFEST is a Culturally Caring Wellness Conference bringing together artists x techies x activists to co-design the future of social equity.

Our Values
We believe that in order to advance our society, empathy--the first component of Human-Centered Design--is an imperative. By creating brands that center empathy as its North Star, ZiM investigates and designs for gaps in the market where the needs of the new majority have been historically overlooked within the beauty, arts, business and technology industries. We do not design for charity cases. We design for intersectional, interdisciplinary, intercultural, and underestimated talent, products, and services.

Who We Need
Because this is a start-up, you must be flexible and able to wear multiple hats in a small team setting while practicing accountability, responsibility, and humility.
ZiM is looking for a team-oriented player who embodies our company’s healthy, happy, and healed mentality. You will contribute to our family-like atmosphere and the “bring your whole self to work” environment. We embrace your tattoos, piercings, hairstyles, weird laughs, and obsessions with cosplay or #BlackTwitter memes, if you have the talent with healthy communication skills, that’s all we care about. We are looking for an innovator familiar with Design Thinking and Agile Processes who is unafraid to take risks and engage in the dissent from mainstream ideals. Our ideal team member has a strong affinity for hip-hop culture, and holds inclusive cultural celebration as core to their personal mission statement.

If you stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends, balance both collaborative and independent work, demonstrate the ability to stay flexible, work well under pressure, and are a mindful communicator, ZiM is the place for you!
