Systems Software Architect (Remote)

We are looking for a Systems Software Architect to work for a leading R&D facility whose goal is to create and implement digital transformation in Smart Cities, logistics & supply, and health. This is an excellent opportunity to work in technology for a large organisation who are looking to impart meaningful technological change in the world. 

As Systems Software Architect, you will be responsible for turning data and security elements into usable software systems and implement the architecture for future projects. Fundamental to the System Software Architect role is defining the right system-module evolution's, communicated via roadmaps, that direct important system properties (eg interoperability). You will plan the architectural runway and support the design of the CI/ CD pipeline in close collaboration with the DevOps team.

Requirements:

• Experience in IoT domains (in any related field, including smart cities, logistics, health etc)
• Experience in Agile Methodologies
• Prior experience in a software architect position
• Experience in different architectural patterns such as data storage, security, graph engines etc
• Ability to collaborate and support others

• Familiar with DevOps, DataOps, SecDevOps engineering
• Familiar with some software developer languages and technologies (javascript, Kubernetes, Azure)
• Experience working with open source projects

This will be an initial 6 month contract which is highly likely to extend. Dependant on experience we would be looking to offer between €400 - €600 per day and there is an option for remote working.
