Overview:

VariQ is seeking two highly qualified Systems Engineers to support one of our projects with the Library of Congress (LOC).


Additional Information:

  • Location: Washington, DC (Remote work temporarily available during COVID-19 pandemic)
  • Salary: Dependent upon experience
  • Security Clearance: Ability to acquire U.S. Security Clearance
  • Availability: Upon award – expected September 2020
Qualifications:

Responsibilities/ Qualifications:

  • Experience design and developing enterprise Web and Search systems
  • Experience with enterprise database technologies, such as Postgres and MySQL
  • Comfortable with working with open source based solutions
  • Familiar with enterprise use of Python
  • Expert in continuous integration/continuous delivery solutions
  • Experience with large-scale AWS based solutions and Terraform
  • Agile experience


Education/Years of Experience

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline preferred
  • At least 5 years of related design and development experience required

Desired Certifications

  • AWS Certified Developer Associate (or AWS Solution Architect)
  • Agile Certification like Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agile Practitioner
