Embedded Firmware Engineer

Looking for experienced Senior Embedded Firmware / Software Engineers for part-time and full-time contract positions. There are multiple full-time and part-time positions available. Candidate must be a self-starter and capable to find unique solutions to difficult problems. If you are a moonlighter with 10-15 hours to spare per week or someone looking for a full-time position, we are interested.

The requirements include:

• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience (embedded design / validation)
• BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python
• Expertise in board bring-up, low power design, hardware debugging, test tools including oscilloscope, logic analyzers, DMM, Saleae, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Expertise in SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, Motor Control, ADC, BLE, Bootloaders

Bonus abilities include:

• Ability to provide system engineering support at the board/PCB level
• Ability to recommend parts selection to meet requirements
• IoT experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Particle IO, Cell Modems
• Medical device experience is a plus
• Previous security clearance is a plus
