Looking for Sr. Data Engineer for our NJ location.
Skills
* 3+ years of experience software engineering and database development
* 3+ years of data modeling experience
* 3+ years of experience with Java technology development stack (Java 8 and higher, Spring Boot, Avro Schema, Cucumber, etc.)
* Experience with using modern technology stack like Docker, Open Shift, Jenkins pipeline as a code
* Experience with cloud solutions
* Experience with AWS, Kafka
* Experience with Serialization, and Apache Avro Schemas
* Experience with Agile Central (aka Rally)
* Experience with healthcare data is preferred
Responsibilities:
* Designing, creating, testing and maintaining the complete data management & processing systems.
* Working closely with the stakeholders & solution architect.
* Ensuring architecture meets the business requirements.
* Building highly scalable, robust & fault-tolerant systems.
* Taking care of the complete ETL process.
* Discovering data acquisitions opportunities
* Finding ways & methods to find value out of existing data.
* Improving data quality, reliability & efficiency of the individual components & the complete system.
* Creating a complete solution by integrating a variety of programming languages & tools together.
* Creating data models to reduce system complexities and hence increase efficiency & reduce cost.
