The Position:

Pixoul’s Senior Experience Designers craft how the individual interacts with a product or service. This requires leading lead product / service research, concepting, information architecture development (site maps, user flows, sketches, wireframes, navigation models), systematic design, testing, and interaction design to create powerful digital, physical and/or environmental experiences.

This is not a support role: you will be hands-on; executing designs and establishing a strong point of view for the User Experience on the program many times directly with our clients. Senior Interaction Designers are able to discover, understand, and communicate the business requirements of our clients, the emotional desires of their customers, and the context in which these two come together. You will be the voice of expertise through the design and facilitation of workshops with all levels of the client organization.

Having a strong passion for and understanding of user-centered design processes, systemic thinking, and interaction design principles is crucial for your success.

You:

Are someone who is passionate about user-centered design and driven to influence your own development. You bring to the organization the following competencies:

• At least five years of user experience and user-centered design expertise.
• Expertise in systemic thinking and strong knowledge of interaction design principles and methodology.
• Strong project and people management skills. Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor.
• Expertise in research and testing methods across qualitative/quantitative, and attitudinal/behavioral axis.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as AdobeCC, Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin.
• A Bachelor degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
• A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people.
• Solid understanding of practical benefits and limitations of internet technologies.
• Intimate knowledge of how comps translate to code.
• Self-motivation, excellent communication, an open mind, the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams, and the skills to balance great design with short deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
• A love of collaboration and learning.
• A fearless and positive attitude.

Salary: $52.00 - $64.00 per hour
