Sr. Tableau Developer (Remote)

Job Description

• Looking for a candidate with 12+ of IT and 7+ years of Tableau dashboard, development, implementation experience and a good understanding of Tableau Server Administration..

Individual will work closely with other team members and business across various locations and teams.
Successful candidate will require to show understanding of the banking technology landscape, ability to gather report requirements and design dashboards.

• Requirements:

7+ years of experience on development side using Tableau desktop: -
o Excellent understanding of SQL, RDBMS, BIG Data
o Expert in developing Tableau dashboards
o Translates business requirements into technical requirements to implement reports and dashboards.
o Facilitate and assist with stakeholder driven design sessions that align to documented requirements and standards.
o Understands, analyzes, designs, develops and documents Business Intelligence deliverables.
o Expert in creating rich Visualizations using Tableau's best practices.
o SQL knowledge is a must and should be able to write SQL queries, understand Joins and the existing SQL's written in SQL Views/SP.
5+ Years of experience as Tableau admin
o Good understanding of Tableau server architecture.
o Experience in creating sites/projects
o Experience in user onboarding
o Experience in troubleshooting server related issues
o Experience in Tableau server version upgrade
Excellent communication skills working with Business groups (Requirements Gathering, Driving the meetings, Training session on Tableau, best practices, Working 1:1 with Business Analysts, Documentation)
Tableau Performance Tuning and Monitoring
Ability to drive/recommend design changes with respect to Tableau dashboard to DBA/ DB developer.
Experience in working with JIRA / Odyssey (preferred)

• Responsibilities:

Partner and collaborate with IT and business teams in various locations and areas of the bank to develop dashboard/reporting solutions
Convert business needs to creative Tableau dashboards and Analytics.
Design and build Interactive data visualizations to provide on-demand reporting, powerful visualizations and actionable insights for business.
Use best practices for dashboard design to enhance user experience
Primarily develop and maintain reporting and analytics on Tableau but not limited to it.
Collaborates with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
Reviews existing dashboards and provides technical guidance and support.
Trains end users on the Business Intelligence Tools and solutions.
Administrating & managing Tableau infrastructure
Assisting with Tableau dashboard/ data sources deployments
Managing and performing Tableau server software updates

• Skills:

Bachelor's degree
Innovative, self-starter, independent
Hands on RDBMS specifically Oracle/MS SQL
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
Strong understanding of Tableau architecture
Good to have experience in Business Objects, Alteryx
Experience with R and python is a big plus

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 to $70.00 /hour
