Job Summary
This is a great Remote Work opportunity for a Sr. PL SQL developer to support a COTS integration effort for a large Federal Civilian Agency. This position allows for remote work and is for a 7+ month (January to August 2020) contract.
Responsibilities and Duties

Create software development plans and strategies;

Write procedures, functions, and triggers

Develop algorithms;

Enhance code for performance issues

Database design;
-
Oversee work of other developers;

Conduct quality control of software development

Conduct proactive risk identification and mitigation;
-
Devise solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options;
-
Combine all elements of the program design and testing it;
-
Test sample data-sets to check that the output from the program works as intended.
Qualifications and Skills
-
12+ years of experience
-
Masters Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline; 10 years of additional relevant experience can be substituted for education

Experience with Federal Agencies, preferably the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Extensive experience writing Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers and scripting.
