Sr. Java Developer - Rest API, Spring, Hibernate,

About this position

Develop new custom application using Rest API, Java, Spring and Hibernate. Part of a team tasked to develop web-based business-to-business (B2B) application for leading financial services firms. Work in a fast paced, hands on role, with focus on cutting edge cloud based application development. Get involved with client issues and work within a team structure to provide custom solutions. Interact with end-users from various financial institutions. Support the Agile development of business requirements and completion of software testing activities associated with the delivery of the application at our direct client site.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years developing Rest API in Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience in Agile Scrum development methodologies
• Full SDLC project life cycle experience
• Demonstrated individual contributor and teamwork abilities
• Must be open to learning new technologies and development paradigms as required
• Sharp analytical-mind with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated to identify and solve programming and analytical challenges
• Qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance (with heavy IT), or other RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
