Role: Sr. Java API Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract (up to 2 years)
Project Details:
-Application supported is for a personalization program and enterprise function that personalizes experiences for members (mobile main menu on the mobile application where members can apply for a car loan or home loan for example)
-Lots of data work, Kafka work, building insights, Kafka topics, translations, mostly Kafka consumption (picks up and publishes events)
-There are two SCRUM teams (most team members are in Plano, some are in San Antonio): daily standups, 2 week springs, quarterly planning
Technical Environment:
Java 8, Kafka, REST, Spring Boot, Jira, different IDEs, SAFe/SCRUM Agile, Openshift, Kubernetes
