Job Description:Leidos is seeking a Sr. Human Centered Design Engineer /Sr. Database Architect to support the IOSS contract. This role is 100% remote, must be located within the United States.

The mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), Information Technology (IT) Operations and Services (ITOPS), Infrastructure Operations (IO) is to support One VA world-class service to Veterans and their families by delivering results-oriented, secure, highly available, and cost-effective information technology services. IO support helps to provide critical services focusing on consistent availability of Veteran-facing applications and quick delivery of benefits for Veterans.
This role will function in the role of Human Centered Design Engineer (HCDE) developing and delivering Single Pane of Glass (SPoG) dashboards reporting overall system health scores based on performance metrics related to application, interface and infrastructure components. The HCDE will also play an important role in working with enterprise command center design team, incident and event management teams to develop system requirements and solutions for the customer. Primary Responsibilities
The Human Centered Design Engineer, Senior Database Architect should have vast experience in assessing various alternative products, tools, and approaches for data management. Must have ability to clearly and define risks and benefits of various approaches for a given need. Is able to create overarching strategies for design.
The Human Centered Design Engineer will support the development of User Interface (UI) designs based on customer specifications and guidance.
