Sr. DevOps Engineer / AWS / REMOTE

One of the biggest healthcare tech companies in Atlanta is looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract with a big project. This company is known for creating a billing and payment platform that touches 1 in 3 patients and healthcare professionals across the United States.

This 12-month contract will involve supporting legacy applications in a datacenter and helping with a migration from OnPrem to AWS, which they hope to complete by the end of the summer. Responsibilities will include standing up CI/CD pipelines, cloud migration, and pushing applications to the cloud with Infrastructure as Code. This role has the possibility of extension or conversion to FTE.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps environment
  • Experience migrating legacy applications from OnPremises to cloud environments (AWS preferred)
  • Standing up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Octopus
  • Experience pushing infrastructure into the cloud with CloudFormation or Terraform

    • Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or related experience

  • Competitive Pay: Up to $80/hour, DOE
  • Contract Duration: 12 Months This position has the possibility of extension or conversion to FTE
