Sr. Developer - Web UI / Full Stack Development (REMOTE)

Description

Our client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

Role

We are looking for a Senior developer - Web UI and Distributed systems, preferably with exposure to Cloud Architectures & public cloud offerings. Role requires taking ownership for end-to-end delivery in an Agile team setting. You will have to interact directly with the users and with technologists across the firm to deliver components of the strategic Settlement platform and integrate them with the other systems in the firm and externally. If you have a track record of delivering UI/UX & Workflows for large-scale mission-critical distributed systems, wed like to meet you.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with 5+ years experience in UI frameworks, UI/UX design and development.
• Excellent working knowledge of Web development frameworks, Angular 2+.
• Sound understanding of design patterns, system resiliency, observability, scalability, and performance.
• Understanding of UX user journey, navigations, multi-tenant containers, layout, etc.
• Understanding of Workflows.
• Experience of Agile development practices.

Skills desired (recommended):

• Prior experience in FinTech application development.
• Understanding of Cloud-based application development preferably using Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Working knowledge of Core Java, Databases.
• Exposure to working in a global delivery team.
• Experience of leading and mentoring developers.

Start Date is within the next 3-7 Business Days, positions are open both US and Canadian Citizen and the work with be either on Staff or direct contract (Clients payroll)
