Remote SQL Developer

Are you an experienced SQL Developer looking for a new high responsibility role? If so, we have the one for you! Keep reading for details of this opportunity...

As an SQL Developer at this highly respected organisation, you will be working on a fully remote twelve-month fixed-term contract as you support project delivery within an agile delivery team. You will take on a lot of responsibility within this autonomous role as you look after data pipelines, modelling data structures, developing data integrations, and more.

SQL Developer responsibilities:

Develop the structure of the reporting database and related data flows and transformations

Design, code, verify, test, and refactor complex scripts and data integration services to support business intelligence capabilities

Develop and enhance database reporting views and semantic layers

Ensure technical solutions support security, quality, accessibility, and ethical handling of data sets

Apply data analysis, design, and quality assurance techniques to modify or maintain data structures

Create and manage data models in all forms

Troubleshoot data issues

Develop working relationships with the wider team and suppliers

Key requirements for this remote role:

Experience working with a range of systems and applying complex data engineering techniques to resolve complex problems

Experience taking responsibility and autonomy over tasks

Experience of influencing customers, suppliers, and peers on data and business intelligence development processes

Experience of driving own development and maintaining an awareness of developing data engineering practices

Able to communicate complex technical information to a range of audiences

Knowledge of data analysis and data modelling as well as QA techniques

Experience designing, coding, testing and correcting complex SQL models and scripts

System/data integration experience

Experience of building good customer relationships
