SQL Developer
Job Location: Portland, OR; Dallas, TX and Lawrenceville, NJ (REMOTE also Fine)

50-60% travel required.

Overall Responsibility:
The Technical Consultant’s primary role is to contribute to projects that involve technical subject matter, technical methodologies, or other areas requiring understanding of complex systems. Familiarity with Windows Operating system, SQL Server programming and .net Component Architecture are the strong complement to the Technical Consultant’s role.
Responsibilities and Duties
Development: Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements Develop Objects using SQL Component like SSIS & SSRS **
SQL Server Basic Skills requirement: Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
Application Management: Install and Manage the Application Instance on Servers Review & Monitor the Availability of Server Instances **
Reporting: Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables using SSRS **
Integration: Participate in integration discussions in liaison with the Business consultant Prepare the integration specification document Design, Develop and Test the integration touch points connecting to customer IT system using .Net, Jason, Rest-full format **
Common: Prepare documentations and specifications Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Report progress to Project Manager on a regular basis
