SQL Developer (Remote)

As a SQL Database Developer on our team, you'll have responsibility for building and maintaining a significant number of Microsoft SQL Server database components as well as customer-facing enterprise applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development, approval, and implementation of a variety of database projects.
• Development of software solutions using industry and client's best standards & learning practices.
• Involvement in major development projects to support our users.
• Work on independent projects as well as on small teams developing software solutions in a fast-paced, dyanamic environment.
• Serving as a resource/consultant to business units, understanding and advising on how to integrate and support emerging technologies.
• Maintaining systems knowledge and keeping abreast of emerging database development technologies.
• When needed, serving as a database lead supporting a variety of development efforts.

Skills You Will Need Here::

• 4+ years of experience as a computer / engineering professional using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and/or 2019 database management and web server software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise using various web technologies, including Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
• Expertise supporting web applications on Microsoft SQL Server 2017
• Working knowledge of SQL Reporting Services preferred.
• Hands-on database administration skills.
• Pragmatic problem solving skills; able to solve complex, analytical problems.
• Ability to work both as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to adjust project schedules to meet critical/changeable deadlines.
• Ability to analyze, learn and evolve with rapidly changing web technologies for providing solutions to business requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
