Our Professional Services team is currently looking for a Splunk Developer to deliver innovative solutions to our client.

Location: Chantilly, VA

Role Description:

Provide operational support for day-to-day activities of an Enterprise Splunk environment (~50 Splunk servers, ~1000 forwarders, ~200 network devices) consisting of Splunk Enterprise, Splunk IT Service Intelligence. Work with customer to perform requirements gathering sessions to develop the scope and design of new and existing dashboards, alerts, reports, and data sources. Translate the requirements into a working model and present it to the customer taking feedback for improvement. Work with the customers Splunk administrators to deploy their solution making it available for all users.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience with Splunk Enterprise
  • 2+ years’ experience with Splunk ITSI
  • Strong regular expression knowledge
  • Linux administration (Red Hat Enterprise v7)
  • Windows administration (Windows Server 2012R2, Windows Server 2016)
  • Scripting Languages: Linux bash shell, Python, PowerShell and JavaScript are a plus
  • Active Directory and LDAP
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must have been in the US Consecutively for the past three years
  • Clearance Required: Public Trust Clearance required to start

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
