As a Solutions Architect you will be designing an analytical platform on Google Cloud for Data Engineers to productionise Machine Learning models on. You will be working as part of the Risk and Compliance team for a Global Bank.
THE COMPANY:
You will be representing the Advanced Analytics team for a world leading Investment Bank. The team provide support to all major areas of the bank and are currently working internally with the Risk and Compliance team. Since they have a relationship with Google, they are expanding the cloud platform to allow other teams to store data more easily. They are also looking into more sophisticated ways of analysing data using Machine Learning techniques.
THE ROLE:
As a Solutions Architect, you are expected to have a strong understanding of how Data Science can improve analytical teams. This is because you will be working closely with the Data Scientists to ensure the GCP is designed in the correct way to provide the relevant data to then host their models. You are required to have strong knowledge of GCP and introduce any new technologies to stabilise the infrastructure. You also have to have hands on capabilities, deploying Machine Learning models using Docker and Kubernetes. If you are able to write code in Python, that would also be beneficial.
