Solutions Architect

Description: QuTech is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to install, deploy, configure, manage and monitor complex and highly integrated enterprise-class applications in a secure cloud environment.

Required:

• Active Clearance - Top Secret with SCI, and CI or Lifestyle polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
• Current Security+ certification required
• VMare Certification preferred
• Amazon Web Services Certified preferred
• ITIL Foundation
• SMARTS certification preferred
• Netcool certification preferred

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience installing, deploying, configuring and integrating applications in C2S / AWS
• Hands on experience administering the IBM CLM / CE suite of tools consisting of Jazz Team Server, Rational Doors Next Generation, Rational Team Concert, Design Manager, Rhapsody Model Manager, Rational Rhapsody and other components.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services to include EC2, S3, Security Groups, CloudWatch, CloudFormation etc.
• Capable of producing application architecture designs and recommendations
• Able to lead a team in the design, deployment and testing of application upgrades, migrations and expansion
• Previous experience in systems administration
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows or Linux server environments. Windows preferred
• Familiarity with relational databases to include IBM DB2 and MS SQL Server
• Experience in application monitoring and performance tuning
• Experience with Enterprise Management Systems or Network Management Systems highly desirable
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience overall
• US Citizenship Required

Desired qualifications:

• 5 years or more working with IBM CLM / CE applications.
• Hands-on architecture modeling using IBM Rhapsody or related application.
• Experience working with systems in C2S (classified Amazon Web Services environment). AWS Certification highly desired.
• Experience with Enterprise Management Systems or Network Management Systems
• Strong background in Agile principles.
• Good understanding of ITIL v3 Foundation principles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
