London £650 per day
Our client is an established organisation that has embarked upon an ambitious digital transformation to revolutionise the way that it engages with its millions of customers. As such, there is a requirement for an experienced Digital Solution Architect to define the technical landscape that will produce a seamless, multi-channel journey for the users of its products and services. The role is offered on an initial six-month contract with the option to go permanent thereafter.
The key responsibilities of the post are to:
- Act as the technical authority across all applications, data, infrastructure and security
- Manage the integration architecture to ensure that all solutions have the flexibility and scalability to work with each other, and are aligned to the overall technical strategy
- Define technical standards and governance and ensure that these are adhered to by internal and external stakeholders alike
- Develop solutions for each project within the programme portfolio that inter-link to form an overall digital architecture
The successful candidate will possess:
- Demonstrable experience of planning and implementing a high performing multi-channel technical landscape as part of a substantial digital transformation
- Strong understanding of digital technologies including Cloud, open source and SOA/microservices
- Experience of managing third parties to deliver the appropriate technical input
- Influencing and stakeholder management skills, with TOGAF certification desirable
