Solr developer (Remote)

Location: Dover , Boston and Indianapolis
Visa: Only GC and Citizens

• Good understanding in Apache Solr v4, v6 and v8, Solr integration with Enterprise content management applications (Alfresco), AWS.

• Build the architectural design in solr to improve the search performance.

• Full text indexing using solr

• Design, create and manage Solr shards and indexes.

• Write efficient search queries against indexes.

• Best practices on how to manage solr backups

• Solid understanding of multithreading.

• Experience with search engines such as SOLR/ELASTIC, in modelling, coding and performance tuning.

• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, C and C++

• Design and develop the core services ensuring strong reliability, scalability and performance tuning

Salary: $50.00 to $60.00 /hour
