Software Test, Verification Engineer

    Looking for a number of Test Engineers to join us in Bristol on a contract or permanent basis to undertake software development and verification for safety critical avionics LRUs such as Network interface module, Engine Electronic Controller, Landing Gear System, Display Software and Flight Control System. You will be working across a range of LRUs as part of a successful and efficient team within the Systems & Software arm of the business.

    Key tasks / Responsibilities:

    Safety critical software development and verification

    Mandatory skills:


  • Good understanding of software testing concepts
  • Writing tests, review and execution on simulated and target environment.
  • Good understanding of CUTE, Ada test tool, LDRA or RTRT, a scripting language
  • Knowledge of PTC Integrity configuration management tool or similar
  • UML and C, C++, Ada

  • Proficiency required:

    Strong SW High Level Requirements and Software Low Level Requirements Verification Experience for DO178B Level A Standard.

    Desirable skills required for this position:

    Understanding of Avionics subsystems

    Design assurance Level A according to DO178B/C

    Experience in integration with hardware

    Knowledge of RR CUTE Tool set and RR process is added advantage

    Knowledge of FADEC / EEC
