Job Description:

VisualAIM is a technology solutions provider for the oil and gas industry. We are looking for Software Developers to support the development of the Intelligent Drawing Platform (IDP)

The IDP is a platform that aggregates and conceptualizes data from multiple sources/databases on the familiar environment of process plant drawings. This allows refineries and chemical plants to transform digitally much faster than with alternate solutions by providing situational awareness to plant personnel.

The IDP includes a comprehensive mechanical integrity solution which analyzes facility fixed assets for applicable damage mechanisms, and supports the evaluation of operational risk and plans for mitigating the risk via inspection and maintenance activities.

The product has been under development for the past 2 years and is about to experience extremely quick growth. We need candidates with strong technical skills who can help us develop a strong architecture for the software as the footprint of the platform expands.

VisualAIM is looking for an experienced candidate to complement our existing team of amazing developers. This role would report to our Technical Development Lead and would be responsible for supporting all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Strong candidates will be able to inject themselves into the development process immediately and begin assisting

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support the development of the Intelligent Drawing Platform.
• Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting software problems and provide solutions
• Design, code, test, debug, and document platform development.
• Write technical API Documentation about the technology platform
• Excel at working with peers within a team environment
• Identify, analyzing, and resolve issues or concerns in a timely fashion
• Develop and support connectivity with third-party applications with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
• Develop and support data migration schemas from other sources into the IDP data structure.

Base Qualifications

• 7-10 years of application development experience with on the .NET platform
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• SaaS development experience
• HTML, JavaScript framework experience (Angular/JQuery)
• Highly proficient in SQL database structures and query scripting (stored procedures/views)
• Experience working in agile/scrum development environments

Strong Candidates will also have:

• Master's degree or equivalent Computer Science
• Knowledge of IT security processes and implementation
• Knowledge and experience in mobile application development
• Experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry
