Software Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities:

• Design and code new reports, programs, and other software and system components 
• Develop and deliver sustainable business reporting solutions based on business needs
• Perform needs analysis of clients and end-users
• Lead the research, planning, designing, development, and deployment of software systems
• Ensure components of systems work together and the flow of data generates the desired results
• Test all written or modified code
• Partner with the testing team for regression and quality assurance testing
• Analyze, research, and design solutions of a diverse scope by analyzing identifiable factors
• Provide training to programming staff
• Make recommendations for improvements in utilizing new technologies

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience building full-stack applications using JavaScript and Node.js technologies
• 3+ years of experience developing front-end web user interfaces with React
• Knowledge of modern design patterns and building enterprise-grade production applications
• Experience with version control tools, such as Git as well as build tools like webpack, NPM, and gulp/grunt
• Past experience with designing RESTful backend microservices and developing them using Node.js
• Expertise with Test-Driven Development using automated testing frameworks
