Software Engineer (Java/Druid) (Remote)

Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Java/Druid)

Location: Remote/San Francisco, CA

Terms: 12+ month contract

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Java
• 1+ year of hands on Druid experience
• C++ experience is a plus
• Must have experience working with distributed / column-oriented / real-time analytics data store. (Eg. Hbase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch)
• Must have working experience with high performing scalable distributed services.

This person will:

• Independently design and implement complex features in our tier 1 services or a new system, gather and incorporate feedback within the team and across relevant teams
• Debug and resolve production issues in our in-house and open source storage services such as Druid.
• The updates should be feature rich, easily scalable, and reliable and should work well with huge load.
