Software Engineer (Remote)

PourMyBeer is revolutionizing the hospitality industry with over 200 locations in the US using our proprietary Self Pour Technology. Some of our customers include Whole Foods, Dave & Busters, Hilton, Walk-Ons and many more. Our technology allows guests to pour their own beer, wine, and cocktails and get charged by the ounce. Our focus in 2020 is to increase and improve our Point of Sales Integrations through designated API's as well as improve how we are able to connect to a variety of other technologies. Below are some of the focal points and skill sets you'll need to be considered for this opportunity.

• Redesign multiple serial communication libraries to be thread-safe, resulting in a more reliable end product
• Design and built a .Net Core 2.0 solution and corresponding Windows installer responsible for reporting and delivering data to an external API, with an auto-updating feature to implement new changes automatically without requiring new installations across all locations
• Design front-end web page via ASP.NET to allow easy access to reporting, configuration, and updating
• Creat Unit Tests to allow for automated regression testing of new features
• Collaborate with CTOs of third-party organizations to design shared API data standards
• Build new API access points to allow for external vendors to access information and metrics
• Assist external developers on best practices for developing integration tooling with our libraries
• Provide code samples in multiple languages along with documentation and support for third-party developers
• Responsible for taking high-level direction from CEO/ COO and designing, architecting, and implementing integration solutions with a third-party point of sale vendors
• Publish libraries to MyGet for easy consumption for third parties, use GitHub for code repository
• Having experience with Point of Sales systems is a HUGE plus, but not a requirement.

Salary: $44.00 to $55.00 /hour
