Senior Director, Information Technology Overview: Legal Weed For Sale is hiring a Senior Director of Information Technology to lead our dynamic IT organization. This role will be responsible for delivering a reliable and high performing department, infrastructure and systems that support all core internal IT operations. All facets of the Tech IT organization including infrastructure, desktop services, enterprise apps, IT analytics, integration, and compliance will be tied to this role. You'll be responsible for the reliability, scalability, security and maturity of our systems to support our rapidly growing business using industry best practices expected of a large, and scaling international company. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader who possesses a complementary balance of business and technology in a SaaS environment with an emphasis on business value, quality of service, system integrity and stability. Must have vast experience in building IT infrastructure and services for a high growth, very fast moving and large technology company . You'll partner with senior leaders across the company to understand the evolving business needs to translate them into technical requirements to inform your IT roadmap. You'll build a strong long-term technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company strategic plan to ensure IT becomes a force multiplier for the company as we scale. You'll drive accountability and metrics ownership to translate strategy into results. And you'll align and inspire your organization by effectively communicating and engaging the team in the strategy. The impact you'll make: * Create vision and objectives for core operational capabilities that enable and enhance the delivery of key performance objectives * Create vision and objectives for transformation of IT processes, capabilities and operating model in support of business transformation vision to achieve the status of premier technology organization * Deliver safe, secure and efficient solutions for IT asset management, central user authority system and integration, automated onboarding and offboarding processes across all departments, laptop hardware and software management, antivirus software solutions * Ensure email, messaging and productivity tools (G-suite) are robust and centrally managed for security, stability and overall governed for compliance purposes * Oversight for office space and new hire build-outs as we are scaling the company at an accelerated rate * Oversight and management of productivity suites like Atlassian Jira, Confluence, etc. * Manage technology obsolescence and vendor risks * Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior business leadership to gain their active support for transformation agenda * Establish ongoing change management capabilities to support major innovation and transformation programs * Manage and enhance risk management strategy, policies, processes, and controls to mitigate organization exposure * Attract, develop, and retain top talent to continually improve IT capabilities necessary to increase performance of the organization * Define and maintain an IT core competency strategy and plan to guide talent investments and focus * Define and execute forward-looking plans to develop relevant new technology skills and capabilities * Communicate the company’s technology strategy to management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders * Create strong partnerships with business areas through account management, IT investment guidance, and performance reviews * Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested * Oversee identity and access policies * Maintain a current understanding of the IT threat landscape for the industry * Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations * Translate that knowledge to identification of risks and actionable plans to protect the business * Partner with Infosec to ensure cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced What you've accomplished: * Bachelor's degree in Technology, Information Systems, Analysis, Business or relevant experience with 10+ years managing and delivering IT services and projects in a software application technology environment * 5+ years building and leading an enterprise IT team who tackle complex problems and perform broad technology implementations * Experience building IT systems in a technology company with over a thousand employees * Track record for delivery in high-growth, rapidly changing environment * Deep understanding of business operations and financial systems in the context of operational business processes Our Benefits: * 100% Employee Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage and 80% of Dependent Coverage * Matching 401k, 50% match up to 6% of employee contribution * 3 weeks accrued PTO and 5 immediate sick days * Accident Insurance * Basic Life/AD&D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment) * Voluntary Short and Long Term Disability * Flexible Spending Account * Catered lunch provided 5 days a week * All the equipment that you need to get your work done * Fridge is always stocked with energy drinks and other snacks * Casual work environment, read “no suit and tie required”, but you are free to dress to the nines Legal Weed For Sale is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
