Software Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities and Duties
1-2 Years Strong PowerShell Automation/Developer skills. Job involves extensive PowerShell coding such as : creating the classes and Objects in PowerShell,
Candidates will support various software development and implementation projects, including, but not limited to, phases of design such as programming, configuration, and integration. Within these phases, candidates can expect to accomplish activities and tasks such as:

• Creating and running PowerShell scripts;

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell command-line shell and scripting language;

• Communicating with end-clients to define project scope and detailed requirements;

Key Skills
Minimum Qualifications: · Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell command-line shell and scripting language; · Experience with writing basic SQL commands/statements and scripting; · Ability to communicate and work with customers on an as needed basis;

PowerShell Automation for the following technologies:

• Automated additions/deletions through Citrix XenDesktop
• PowerShell for Active Directory
• Completely automated DR solution via Tintri, Citrix, and SCVMM across multiple continents
• Tintri Storage allocation
• PowerShell Oracle, SQL DB access
• Completely automated SCVMM VM Builds (hundreds per run)
• VM Migrations through PowerShell and SCVMM.
• VM Tier updates via PowerShell, SCVMM, and PowerShell Remoting (RAM, CPU, and Disk expansions)
• Automated server builds through Cisco UCSD
• Menu driven PowerShell scripting using WPF/XML
• Advanced function expertise
• Virtualization for VMware, Hyper-V, SCVMM
• Module configuration with repositories
• DSC (Desired State Configuration) managing automated server builds (2019)
• PowerShell for Azure (by 2019)
• Platforms scripted against include: Oracle, SQL, Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, SCVMM, SCCM, DNS, DHCP, VMware, Lync, Tintri, Citrix, Server 2012, 2016, Windows 7, 8, 10, Certificates, RunSpace, ADFS, and many, many more.
