Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer with our client in the SEO industry. This is a remote position which will work PST hours. This is a 9 month + contract position.
Summary:
We are looking for a solid software engineer to help the team to migrate our continuous build/test system to a mature framework to reduce maintenance effort.
Responsibilities:
Understand the current continuous build/test system (Jenkins)
Get familiar with the new framework (LUCI) and come up with the migration plan for individual projects
Finish the migration step by step translating bash shell scripts to python as part of the integration
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering in listed languages.
Python
bash shell scripting
CI/CD familiarity (Jenkins, Travis, etc.)
Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
