P3 is searching for a Full-time or Contract to Hire Software Developer for a client located North of Des Moines. This position will allow full-time remote work from home with occasional visits to the office. Our client a rapidly growing start-up technology company is developing API's to integrate data tools onto a platform for customers to have access to multiple sources of infomration and directions to help improve and produce product quality. Our clients values are to ensure customers are able to make the best decisions through research, analytics, live feed and predictable data to gain access to financial guarentees. Currently more than 52,000 customers are using the platform. The Software Developer will work within the .NET Tech stack and Azure Cloud. Interviews must be done in person.
Responsibilities:
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Skills:
Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
Familiarity with the .NET framework .
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Skill for writing reusable C# code/libraries.
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Familiarity with Windows Azure.
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
Familiarity with continuous integration.
5+ years writing enterprise level software solutions.
