Savvee Consulting, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Software Developer to work on a DoD contract from our Chantilly, VA office.

Description:

Software development on DoD contract using: Agile, Waterfall, Iterative and Spiral development. Java is the main development language.

Developing software; with a full understanding of the software development life cycle (Planning, designing, implementing, testing, document, deployment, maintenance).

Java programming and other application server software development.

Supported requirements development and implementation to support DoD acquisition programs.

Technology used: Java, Docker, Web-Services, Apache Karaf, Apache Camel, ActiveMQ, POSTGRESQL, MongoDB, JSON, XML/XSD

Tools used: Open-source Java IDE, Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), GIT


Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience developing software; with a full understanding of the software development life cycle (Planning, designing, coding, integration, testing, document, deployment, maintenance).
  • Experience with server-side Java development, Microservices, Requirements Analysis, Software Detailed Design, Software Component Design, Service-oriented Interface Design
  • Strong technical, server-side software development
  • Ability to work under and thrive with tight project deadlines
  • Active Secret Clearance
