Software Developer in Test

We are partnered with a global Asset Managment Investor based in central London who are the lookout for a contract Software Developer in Test specifically with strong C#.Net skills.

The role itself will involve carrying out thorough high-quality software testing around all team deliverables, reviewing and challenging functional specifications and coming up with innovative, context-driven test ideas to solve problems.

Other duties include:

• Designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Reporting results of testing in a clear/timely manner
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand implicit/explicit requirements
• Collaborating with senior and junior developers
• The delivery of test artefacts in different contexts
• Writing clear, concise, thoughtful and respectful bug reports
• Collaborating with developers on increasing the testability of System Under Test

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software testing specifically with demonstrated experience of web test automation using Selenium with C#, unit testing frameworks e.g. NUnit/XUnit, performance testing of websites and web‐services, website security testing, website usability testing, accessibility testing and WPF test automation e.g. TestStack.White, CodedUI, Telerik etc.

• Have excellent time management and problem solving skills and be able to independently provide testing services to multiple functional areas

Applicants with previous investment or financial services industry experience is highly desirable buit in no way essential, as is experience of Event-Driven/Microservices architecture.
