Roc Search https://www.roc-search.com I am currently working with an NHS Trust, supporting them in hiring an interim Software Developer to join a busy and varied Project Development Team . The successful candidate actively participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle through an Agile approach. They main technical requirements are .Net and Azure.
Job details are as follows:
Title: Software Developer
Location: Fully Remote.
Duration: 6-12 months Contract with expected 6 Month extension.

Software Developer Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop, test and implement new software programs Design and update software. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimisation Independently install, customise and integrate software packages Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability Development of technical specifications and plans Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry
Software Developer Key Technical Skills Required
Experience of working with the .Net Standard and Core Frameworks Experience of Continuous Integration & Deployment experience. (Azure Devops and Terraforms) Developing solutions in Azure cloud and use of services (eg service bus , event grid) Net Core / MVC Asp Web API .Net Core 2.1 &3.1 Strong Proficiency in C# with good knowledge of its ecosystems Previous experience of VB.Net a plus. SQL HTML, CSS JavaScript incl. good understanding of modern JS libraries and workflows (WebPack, SPA etc.) Git Source Control Experienced in writing, consuming RESTful services (JSON) Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Knowledge of NHS standards eg FHIR a bonus.
