We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Designer to be responsible for creating original graphic content on our online platforms. You should be highly motivated, creative, and possess solid knowledge of marketing competencies.

The Oxygen Project is a grassroots social media company that documents the biggest story of our time -- the changing planet. We currently have 800,000 followers on Facebook, where we regularly post content, including articles, videos, and graphics, on all things environmentally-oriented. Part-Time/Contract: 10-15 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $22/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Design campaign artwork, including including photos, videos, graphics, and motion graphics, for social media channels

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Final Cut Pro
• Must understand and be an active participant in all things social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Must have specific experience creating social media graphics and keep up with the latest trends
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Must be self-motivated and have a proven track record for working in a deadline-driven industry
